Connecting and utilizing Nordic Data Lakes for secondary use of patient data
By connecting existing national or regional data lakes, enabled by the new technical era of AI, BigData and Federated Learning, N!P can create world-leading Nordic services for secondary use of health data. Easier and safe access to patient data will boost and speed up research and innovation projects in the healthcare segment.
Establish a Nordic Digital Health & Medication Platform for accreditation and activation of healthcare apps
By using already established technologies, N!P has established quality assurance and accreditation services for health apps and digital health solutions and provided promotion solutions for approved apps for both the healthcare and preventive care segments across the Nordics.
Through this, we have not only created a common way of evaluating health apps and a cross-Nordic distribution model for the app development community but also create new business models for preventive care and self-treatment solutions. NordDEC is the world’s first cross-border accreditation platform and framework for health apps and creates a bigger home market (the Nordics) for app developers.

Support Nordic innovative solutions helping citizens have health data available at the point of care or help preventative care efforts
Through access to either data from the healthcare system, or quality assured preventative welfare data produced by the citizens themselves, Nordic initiatives can create digital solutions where a minimum of vital patient data can follow the citizen and be accessible through their consent when needed.
N!P supports this work to secure that Klara and Alva (and every other citizen) can have their necessary patient data available at the point of care when needed or for preventative care purposes.
To achieve this we need support from the healthcare ecosystem!
We need to show commitment from the ecosystem and those who will benefit from using these enablers as platform for innovation and business development in the Nordics!
